Miniature First Navy Jack Flag

First Navy Jack Flags were initially used by the Continental Navy in 1775.  Today it is displayed on all United States Navy vessels in commission from dawn to sunset while the ship is at anchor.

Four x six inches, each flag is attached to a ten inch black staff, topped with a gilt spear.  Silk-like material is sewn on all four sides, bright colors.
