Cotton Star Spangled Banner
Celebrated in song, the Star Spangled Banner or Garrison Flag was the flag that flew over Fort McHenry while the Battle of Baltimore raged during the War of 1812. Seeing the flag still flying proudly after the battle ended, Francis Scott Key was inspired to write the poem Defence of Fort McHenry. Set to tune, this eventually became our National Anthem.
This beautiful flag features embroidered stars, sewn stripes.
