Gonzales (Come and Take It) - Nylon
In early 1831 the good people of Gonzales, Texas asked Mexico (at the time the ruling country) to provide a cannon for protection against hostile Indians. When things began to sour between Mexico and Texas a few years later, and the gun was asked to be returned, those same good people pointed to the cannon and proclaimed "come and take it". The disagreement started the Battle of Gonzales, considered to be the first battle of the Texas Revolution.
